Helped me tremendously when my parents divorced in my early years at Canterbury. I think I was irrationally scared of her when I was at school, she was strict, but was always fair and incredibly kind. Great teacher in the classroom, but what is most memorable is the extra effort she went to outside of the classroom.
tamara was an outstanding teacher, she made my years at canterbury bearable. she's strict, but thats to push students to be better people all-round. she wants kids to be happy and comfortable at school, but most of all she pushes them to reach their potential and to become young adults who have respect for their mentors and peers, who can respect direction given from authority figures. i had fights with her, and i learnt lessons that i carry through life with me. an amazing inspirational woman.
I only had her for a term when I left but when I did leave she started crying, she was always nice to me. She gave me a big hug and kiss and said good luck in the future.. only good person at Cant.
The best english teacher ive ever had, she taught me alot and really inspired me. She can get really mad though. oh and no swearing or slouching in your seat !!
had her for english in year 9, equal best english teacher i had, tied with mrs kenealy
