One of the most knowledgeable teachers at this school, his lessons always help students learn new things at an extremely fast pace. While he can be quite strict, his discipline leads to vastly better results within the class. His knowledge of Latin, Theology, and Literature is truly astonishing.
Difficult teacher, spends a lot of time disciplining, very knowledgeable.
Easily the class I am most scared by, some of his learning tactics a bit quirky, hard to ask questions difficult to receive help but a very smart man.
Awesome teacher, he can be difficult and scary to students and targets those who need help. However it can be a little intense and intimidating. Asking questions can be difficult if you don't use perfect english, grammar and use "umm" or "errr" during a sentence, essentially he can't stand inarticulate speakers. He's got a brilliant mind, but a hard mind to crack. Once you understand him then you're set for life, but if you don't.....you're in for a hard year my friend.
Yes, class time might be a huge rush, but at the end of the day he is a bloody knowledgeable, thinker. Straight up
Dr Collins is a great teacher. He is far more knowledgeable than any other teacher at scotch. Especially the other English teachers.
Dr Collins is not in the right field of teaching, he should be teaching university students, not senior school students.
Best English teacher at Scotch. He exposes the idiocy of the bogan students and instills much-needed discipline in them. The world needs more teachers like Dr Collins who maintain standards, ruthlessly correct illiteracy and ignorance, and effectively instill discipline through an iron fist combined with public humiliation.
Absolutely hilarious. Not many teachers who will unleash a torrent of abuse these days - something I hope is never lost. Great footy coach as well.
I find it hard to believe that a man with such a clearly brilliant knowledge feels the need for self gratification by making cheap jokes at people less than half his age, teachers having a sense of humour is fine, but Dr Collins tends to take it that step to far and often makes enemy’s of students who have done little more than having a shirt tail untucked on the first day.
