I am so sad that Ms Harris has left! She was one of the teachers that truly cared about students and she is one of my favourite teachers (even though I never had her). She has integrity and always strives to see from the student's perspective. I really trusted her and she has helped me immensely several times with course selection, my timetable and Skyraiders. She is professional yet approachable. She will be missed :( Best of luck Ms Harris!!
She is so helpful and nice, after going through the Ancient Greek incident, she was so supporting of us and helped us with our decision making. She is very professional and knows how to act, great to have a conversation. I found her intimidating at the start, but once you know her, she is a cool teacher!! And she is so good at her job, I was waiting at the staffroom once, with 5 other people, she came and helped us where she remembered 6 different teacher's name on the spot ! I look up to her :)
May appear very sophisticated and strict, but when you get to know her, she is very friendly and will stick up for what she believes is right, even if that means sticking up for a student's perspective rather than another teacher's. If you need something, she'll get it done for you asap. She remembers the names of almost everyone she meets and is very good at what she does.
Ms. Harris is an outstanding professional and leader. I don't know how she does it but she's defo someone who makes me actually look forward to going to school and doing my best (strangely enough). It must be her pssionate drive for, and belief in education. Also, her relentless zest for her job even though she has seen the works... Yes, she is strict and has exacting standards. But ultimately, you have to understand that in the real world, people are not going to treat you so well.
shes alright if you get to know her , very average
She was my teacher and co-ordinator in 2006. Yes she was firm, however our class understood her position. Now that I am working as a professional, I look upto her drive, professionalism and determination.
she has to act strict, as her position is a very hard one to deal with. underneath her strict fasade, she is a very nice person, and takes her job with extreme pride, which is how all teachers should take it. well done.
She's okay, but only to jocks like me, she is completely biased towards people who contribute much to the school. to the others she is mean and thinks of them as slobs. i was walking with my shirt untucked and she told somone next to me to tuck their shirt in but walked right past me after looking at me. Sport rox.
to be honest, she's the kind of person i would seriously hire (if i have my own company). she takes her job seriously and she can be firm sometimes but that's just because she believes in discipline. but if you think about it, she's the kind of person who would stand up for what she thinks is right. and not all teachers do that. she can be a bit intimidating though. she will LITERALLY stand up for a student if she thinks that's the right thing to do. and she's smart enough to be able to defend herself :)
Most students completly underate her, they all think she is tight. If you do the wrong thing you will get mojorly owned! But if your on her good side she can be quiet nice.
