Ms Julie Hollis has gifted me with a year of exquisite teaching of which I had enjoyed every second. My experience with her is when she mocks students for incorrect grammar mistakes in our presentations. I feel like I am being reached by a monkey when presented with any teacher who isn't Julie. I cannot wait to continue my education with this wonderful teacher
She shouts at her students in front of the whole class, and even though english is a subjective language she always thinks whatever she says is right and whatever a student says she will almost always disagree with. She also has favourite's and her feedback is useless. Don't know whats with the good reviews she got previously, maybe thats back when she tried.
Favours students alot
Never explains clearly
Shouts at you if you have problems printing
Expects you to understand everything she says at one go
Favours students to her liking expects you to know everything
It's only the beginning of Term 2 and I've already gotten screamed at three times. First- she did not clearly write the assignment specifications; second- I did not put my poem in my presentation (the poem was very long!!); third- I misread something.
She's not very interesting and helpful either. We spend weeks on a small thing. Nobody listens to her, in fact, everyone's just going on Facebook.
Lastly, she always sticks with the 'A' students, and don't give good advice to us 'B's or 'C's.
Ms Hollis is an ok teacher though she really needs to work on her skills
Her teaching methods are good but not great. She covers the syllabus well. However, she does not inspire-which is the most valuable characteristic. If you do not believe in your students (even the one's who are doing poorly) you're not doing your job
Mrs Hollis is a unique teacher with different learning experiences, but fails to capture a student's attention...no matter how much me and my friends try, we just don't seem to have an interest in her lesson (Text & Context). She is, however, friendly and strives to be helpful.
She is a good teacher, she cares for her students and wants them to do well.
She's a fabulous teacher! Has the most caring personality ever- a teacher you could call Mum by mistake :P

omgsh you are the most nicest teacher i have ever had.. your teaching is like so good
Mrs Hollis rocks, her vocabulary is insane!! Hehe, she also creates a good learning environment and is very knowledgable
Mrs Hollis is a very kind and genuinely caring individual. She motivates students and is a very good teacher
Mrs Hollis is an excellent english teacher. She obviously knows how to connect with the students and motivate them to do better!
