He expected you to know the course before teaching it however never allocated any time or reference to the textbook. Even then if you were confused about the course he would refuse to explain concepts and blame you for being confused because it was in the textbook. He would then return reciting a sketch no one knew from a comedy show from 30 years ago. He made me genuinely dislike my favorite subject.

Goes off on random tangents about things that aren't on the course while glossing over the actual content like we should already know it all. No idea how he could be head of chemistry at such a good school. Absolute doorknob.

He is so bad. cannot explain things at all.if you get him your in for a bad year. dont try and understand him, just read through the class notes.

only helps the people he likes, and picks on those he doesnt like, doesnt matter how hard they try. might be a good teacher but lousy person. maybe he had parental issues, maybe hes just evil, we just don't know

Gotta say.....besides the random jokes from time to time....Dr J is an excellent Chemistry teacher....he really tries to help his students....and the main thing is....Dr J really knows his stuff....

I would want to be in JJJ's class anytime.He's a legend even though he likes the red and black. 3x 50's in his class alone in 2005 with 2 premier's awards.

one of the best yr 12 chem teachers going around - knows his stuff soo well, and works extremely hard for his students. gives them every possible chance to do well. gotta love his jokes!!!

Head of Chemistry teacher that may be critical if students do badly in tests/SACs/homework, but forgives them if they do well in the actual exams. Teaching materials are sometimes too complicated.
