Jo really loves to talk about herself and makes sure she marks as many people late as possible each class, except for when she is late. In Jo's world, if you are 30 seconds after the bell you are late. She can be very mean as well, and doesn't take into consideration that some students are more sensitive, and makes snarky comments and gets them to share things they dont want to share. She also focuses her attention less on the people who really need her help.
Jo is so caught up in herself, her book and her antics that she forgets about the fundamentals of VCE Media and has low ability to efficiently teach her classes. She treats her students much like children which becomes frustrating as everyday you have to listen to her immature jokes and gestures in a failed attempt to engage her students. Other than this she has a wide knowledge on Media and knows what she is talking about but she struggles to successfully put it through to her students.
Jo is amazing! She knows exactly how to teach a class, and she knows everything there is to know about Media. If you get put in her class, you are a seriously lucky student!!!
the best teacher i ever had. she was funny, easy to talk to and was more up to scratch with technology then i was
Jo has a ....unique way of teaching. Not the best teacher, but she does get her point across after she stops gloating about all she has done with her life
I was her student in the late 1990's. It was Jo who inspired & helped me to achive in Media Studies. I still remeber how great she was, and I graduated a Bachelor of Media Studies last year. Amy.
I don't think shes a good teacher. She has a habit of ignoring students who need the most help, talking about herself and rushing through material. Oh well. Nice lady
