teaching wise he’s okay, but his attitude towards students is not my favourite. had him as a substitute teacher and when i simply asked if i could print out work that was due the next day, he could have said a simple no, but instead he went on to say that, ‘you’re not my student, i dont trust you to go out in the middle of the lesson’ this completely made me very angry and frustrated and changed my mind mood for the rest of the lesson.

One of my favourite teachers ever, really knowledgeable guy on the Humanities, Cricket and other disciplines
As a teacher he can be hard marker but especially as sub MrNicholson is great he knows an impressive amount and everwilling (too willing in some opinions to share his knowledge/views
Basically, a really nice dude who prefers to converse about the world than regurgitate ed propaganda
Apart from the marking thing I can't see any reason to give a rating apart from 5/5

He's a good teacher and it's really easy to understand him. He is knowledgeable about many topics but can be arrogant and sometimes gives harsh punishments.

He is a very good teacher and not very bias but mr Nicholson rushes the class a little. Has a lot of knowledge and is a very hard marker.

One of my favourite teacher at BSHS. He knows a lot, and I've learnt a bunch from him the past two history semesters. He's funny, and contrary to other comments, very nice too.

I actually really enjoy him as a teacher, while he may not be the nicest 'person' he teaches well and is very clear in what he says. Despite what everyone else thinks i like him!!

Mr Nicholson is one of the most experienced, intelligent and insightful teachers I've had during my high school years- those who give him a '1' are probably failing or getting a 'C' in his classes

Great teacher! The students who don't like him probably don't pay attention in class. He can be difficult but if you like the subject and pay attention then you really benefit from his teaching!

I had Nicholson for Form Class. I went all the way from 9 - 12 with him. His personality can be testing & he does have favorites but he is a good teacher; look at it as a useful life lesson - hes ok.

Had him one semester, he was totally onto me and evil. The next semester, he completely turned. He's a pretty good teacher if you listen. It pays to stay attentive!

Very good teacher. But can eccentric at times. If you are good in class, he'll be nice to you. If you are bad, prepare to get owned. But overall, an excellent teacher.

If you listen to him he will listen to you. One of the best history teachers you will find at BSHS. Although you may think he is harsh, it is because he prefers hard working students.
