Mr Ramm's math teachings are extremely difficult to understand. All he does is write on the board talking to himself while he expects us write everything down and understand all he just poorly explained. He constantly chews his beard and nails while staring out the window or at students. When talking to female students he always uses a high pitched voice which is very off-putting. He makes people stand up for no reason once so ever and separates the desk at the start of each lesson.
Yells a great deal. His classes are not enjoyable, always on edge. Creates an unpleasant and unwelcoming environment in which to learn. The general consensus of comments speaks for itself.
Very lackluster teaching methods. Frequently, class was just watching science videos from the 1960's, with little relevance to modern teaching. Yes, detentions were almost inevitable every class.
almost evryone at kerdon who has Ramm for science or math knows that he is incompentent sends people to the office for no reason and whats with the hand gestures is he trying to land a plane.
Nothing short of dismal. Monotone. I've had other Bio teachers, he's the only one that can lull me into a doze. Shouldn't really be a teacher.
sent a girl to the office for putting a sticker on her nose. yells for no reason, and teaches in a boring way.
Insulting, frustrating, unsympathetic, lacks modern approach. I am sure he is a good bloke normally, but he does not seem to enjoy his job. Hope things have changed. Rather concerning :(
is quick to anger, gives out detentions for minor things including getting questions incorrect. come on daryl!
Spends much of lesson punishing disruptive students, limited clarity when explaining science.
One of the worst teachers, Darryl Ramm has severe temper issues, and he is shocking at controlling the class. He only helps the "better" students, leaving others to do badly. I can't stand him.
I'm a past student born 1986. When I was in Mr.Rams class he wasnt a bad teacher at all. I was a real trouble maker but he had so much time for me. I realise that now. Good on him for that.
