To be good is noble, but to teach others how to be good is nobler - and less trouble.
The best teachers are those who show you where to look, but don't tell you what to see.
Mr Newton was probably the best teacher I had at Luther, not because of what he taught me or how, but because he understood, through my mistakes etc, how my mind worked and how I could do my best with that in mind. This resulted in him helping me learn a different maths modules to the ones offered by the school to do in my exam and it ended up being my best subject. That took guts on his part and he ought to be commended for it.
good bloke, but his explanations feel kind of rushed and when he helps you out as an individual you kind of get the feeling you are just being told stuff u have no clue about, and he thinks he has helped
He knows what he talks about but i feel hes all books and notes
Newton's a legend. Although, sometimes he writes too many notes, and rubs them out too quickly. But, he's very explanatory, and he's awesome for that.
good teacher, very strange personality. He is friendly one day, grumpy the next.
Mr Newton is a living legend. He teaches incredibly well and explains all concepts comprehensively. His personality may be strange to some but i was very friendly with him and found that my maths improved dramatically.
