She's really not a helpful teacher. I would never recommend her to anyone.
Mrs Hojer is the best English teacher in the school, hands down.
She is the best english teacher ever. You're lucky if you get her.
This teacher does not help at all and she is a very bossy and strict teacher that doesn't give advice nor does she give us a break, too much homework. I would never recommend this teacher.
I really enjoyed having Ms Hojer filling in for ms west for about a term. She is a great teacher if u are dedicated and don't slack off. If you get on her good side she is truly a wonderful soul who is willing to help as well as funny and charming. Her accent my cause some students to become less concentrated on her words but she can't help that. Great teacher 10/10
I loved it when I had her. She always had something for me to work on even when I was three tasks ahead of the class. She never didn't have something for me to do so I felt like I was always learning something.
I liked my English teacher very much. I really learnt a lot from her she knew her subject very well.
Had her in year 8 a while ago, but she is one of the better teachers I've had for English. While she is a fairly good teacher, she could also be very, very patronizing to slower students.
when it came down to it, she knew what she was talking about, and how to help
One of the best teachers I've had. Had her in year 8 and she helped me get used to English in High school. Shes really nice if you know how to behave with her
if you have an intelligent class which doesn't muck around much she'll like you guys. she also comes up with good ideas and really tries to help the students.
Very strong accent, sometimes difficult to understand. But, marks in an extremely rigid manner... just follow the marking key EXACTLY, and you'll do fine.
This is the one woman in the school who has her feet in Rossmoyne, and her head in Mt. Fuji. Teachers, whom you'd expect to find her more reasonable, happen to complain to their students about how horrible she is. Birgit Hojer adores taking long, sweeping walks across the Rossmoyne Corridors - smack straight in the middle of it, pushing students (who are walking on the right side in the right direction) away from her with considerable force. The 'EXCUSE ME!'s and 'MOVE IT!' are getting on our nerves, Birgit
I think she could explain the way she likes things to run a little better to the year 8s + improve her wardrobe. I learnt a lot from her, she likes to stick to the 'modules' and she's a good teacher!
started year disliking her, ended year with better understanding of english, more confidence and greater appreciation. doesn't just give answers, encourages students to really learn & form own reasons
