He is retired now. Shame to see him go...
Mr Tong is very smart, i'am actually very lucky to be at his class even that sometimes he will be quite grumpy.
Mr Tong is really mean and angry all the time. he picks on the same people in my class every lesson. even though I am on his good side for now, I don't really like him. he gives too much homework!
-Best maths teacher
-Explains questions clearly
-Very organised for every class
-Dead List - LOL
Best teacher ever. What can i say, hes funny, intensely knowledgeable and kind.
Mr Tong is very nowledgable but he cant teach. Im always asking him for help and to slow down and explain things in "baby language". He is always rushing when teaching us because he starts blabbing on about something really random (turkeys, monkies) I wish I had Mrs rutherford!
Where do I start? Mr Tong is funny in the sense that he has very lame jokes, and also communicates well in the class. Mr Tong, as well as Mr Felton both have credible educational skills in terms of keeping the class educated, interested and entertained. They're both funny and good at teaching.
undoutfully, he is very smart but he doesn't know how to respect people=(
often gone off topic, not very clear at times. undoubtable smart and knowledge, he is only a knowledge teacher, not a great teaching teacher
Best Maths teacher in the school by far. Has really interesting explanations of concepts, makes class pretty damn fun i gotta say. If you get him for Ext1/2 your pretty lucky.
hes the best teacher and always gives death threats but heaps of fun, you just need to get on his good side and make sure you have heaps of jokes with him and you are set for the year!
very smart and makes maths fun. l,ots of homework though
kool and prob the best maths teacher in CTHS coz he at least tries to make maths interesting
Only good if YOU'RE good. He's a mathematical genius, but when it comes to teaching he doesn't understand that WE AREN'T GENII!! I regret having him as a teacher, but the fault is mainly mine.
likes his badmington but funny tends to drift away from maths easily has really high expectations but gets the best out of his class, every lesson is entertaining and enjoyable.
He's a pretty good teacher, but tends to go off track each lesson. His expectations of my class is higher than we perform, so each time we get our results back, he goes on and on about them.
Mr Tong's a good teacher but spends a good third of the lesson babbling on about random stuff includes dinosaurs, badminton tournaments, badminton shoulder/elbow/wrist, amidst other random subjects. BUT he really knows his subject, and knows how to teach really well, and knows how to teach it so that that we listen and learn, and the lesson sticks. probably needs to stop lecturing us on yr 11 & 12
Mr Tong's like the best maths teacher I've gotten! Great, friendly, funny, makes the class interested in the subject. Go Mr Tong! (:
Good teacher. Smartest teacher I know. Tends to drift off subject though, talking about badminton and tutoring students and talking to students in class. Interesting teaching approach, but drifts off subject easily.
