her grasp of the nuances and inner workings of English Literature is outstanding. although a little hard to understand sometimes she is a hardworking and inspiring teacher.
Angela, what can I say. Debating - you win. However you do have a single flaw. That flaw is your desire to completely iron out emotion/arrogance. A touch of arrogance is needed every now and then. IShe is also quite a good teacher and is entheusiastic (probably over committed). She needs to learn to attack the year 8's more, as they are terrible at debating.
A dogmatic character at times but in the longhaul she can prove very helpful. Lit genius
No doubt she knows her subject but her personality and style of teaching didn't work for me...
She can be opinianated, not finish her sentences and occasionally rude, but she is very passionate about certain things, and so absolutelly awsome at those. Slightly wacko!
Doesn't deserve the treatment of enduring the teaching of the horrific OBE Course of Study English course. She belongs with Lit students, in the ambience of Shakespeare, Elizabeth Jolley, the metaphysicals, and such and such.
I agree that sometimes on a text she knows really well, she will force upon you her opinions and interpretations, and criticize and shout you down if you have a slightly alternate theory or perception
Very nice and intelligent teacher. She has taught me a lot, but just make sure you don't have bad dreams about her! However, she doesn't finish her sentences.
A friendly teacher but if you try to do a "resistant reading" (normally encouraged in lit) that doesn't agree with her opinion, she'll give you a bad mark and tell you it's because of structure.
Probably one of the worst teachers at the school. Only wants to teach the top students at the school, if you're not one of them, and you get her for english, you're in trouble.
A brilliant teacher. Her unsurpassed knowledge and interrpretations of the various texts, and (Masters degrees!), and intellectual and expressive intelligence is spectacular. One of the lit teachers
