Mrs Ashley doesn't seem to value the concept of building any relationships with her Year One students. She's very cold and unsmiling. She raises her voice often. The children I have heard speak of her have negative things to say - eg, that she is "meaner than she needs to be", "I don't want to ask her questions because she might tell me off". Mrs Ashley is often rude to parents.
